moving wordpress to different domain

Hi. So my blog domain name name is currently like this: domainname.com/blog

I want to move it from domainname.com/blog => domainname.com

People said I had to uninstall my blog and then install it on the main domain, then move the data…but I don’t understand.

If I delete my index.html code, then it wouldn’t work. I use Cpanel and isn’t very technical.

My blog is at honestknowledge.com/warriorblog by the way.

I really want people to see honestknowledge.com when they visit my blog and this is for other reasons too.

I appreciate any help.
