Moving WordPress Site to different directory – doesn’t work

Tried to move my sites using this tutorial, and it turned out to break my wordpress installation. There is something wrong and I do not have time to actually seek for a mistake. So just to let you know that I’ve just lost pretty much vast portion of time trying to move wordpress blog without reinstalling it, completely useless loss, because I still need to reinstall it since my sites now do not work at all. Thank you…

If you need to transfer it again in the future I recommend to use this plugin to change the filesystem path and url:
https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
For example you have to change:
/home/username/public_html
to:
/home/username/public_html/newfolder
and:
to:
