Moving wordpress from one Domain to another within the same hosting service

    Hi all,

    I am trying to move my wp site from one domain to another. But not getting any success.

    What i did:

    using the guidelines from the webpage above i had changed the urls to the new domain, and then i moved my files from old to new domain. but everything was messed up.

    then i had to go back to the previous domain used the backup and script from above in the functions.php file to get the site back.

    i also tried to use the search and replace script but it didnt work..

    i also want to ask if i use ‘velvet blues plugin’ should i use it before or after changing the url from the settings page?

    Please, help me with this, by telling me what i should do to get the site running on my new domain.
