You can follow this tuturial to get your WordPress website into HTTPS. Sometimes is your media (images etc.) mixed content. You can resolved this issue with the following plug-in.

However there is one issue I failed to mention and became clear following your replies.

All of the custom field URLs do not follow a set pattern, example follows…

• https://12a5as1ds2.site.com/
• https://s15d2s5a1d.site.com/
• https://72s1d5s1a2.site.com

• https://5df45s84d5.site.com/img.jpg
• https://02df25d2s3.site.com/img.jpg
• https://df1d5s15fd.site.com/img.jpg

Why did you do that when you put data in those fields? You’re going to have to find a search/replace tool that supports regular expressions. Try this one instead

Note: I can’t help you with getting the regex set up.

I didn’t decide the data would be like that, it is supplied by a third party of which I have no control unfortunately.

UPDATE: The suggested script worked a treat – all I did was search ‘HTTP’ and replace with ‘HTTPS’ within the wp_postmeta table. Thanks once again!
