    hi,

i’m moving a site from ‘host a’ to ‘host b’.

‘host a’ just had a single wordpress/sql installation.
the new host of the site has multiple wp installations set up with corresponding sql installations (in different locations, one for each wp site) and different domains pointing to it.

long story short: do i have to worry about the plugin messing around in some of the other wordpress installations/databases or does it know “where its boundaries are”? ??

thank you in advance for your replies!
    phil

    Hi Phil,

    Thank you for reaching out.
Do you mean you are exporting a single site and importing it onto a Multisite network?

    Hi Pim,

    i just checked – it isn’t a multisite network/it isn’t enabled at least.
there are 2 other sites running on the new host with separate wordpress/database installations for each site.

just wanna make sure the other sites stay untouched during the import of the old site…

    Hi,

Yes, there will be no problem with separated WordPress and database.
