Moving the old forum to WordPress

Is it possible to transfer a forum from phpBB to WordPress using the wpForo plugin? I have access to the old forum database.

wpForo has the 2wpForo?tool. It allows you to easily migrate from your old forum software to wpForo.

Does this plugin also import private forums? Password protected?

So, if really, it’s not working.

1. It’s impossible to install version 3.0.2 and 3.0.0
2. Second – you can Successfully Finished migration, but nothing is change. Posts and forums is not migrated to wpForo

Hi @kwiss,

If you have already performed the migration and see the migration numbers then all are migrated. You just need to go to wpForo > Forums admin page and put all blue panels under the main Migrated Forums category then scroll down and save it.

Also, go to wpForo > Overview admin page and click the following buttons:

• Update Forum Statistics
• Update User Statistics
• Delete All Caches

Sorry, it’s not working. In wpForums >Forums admin page is added only this empty category:

[gVectors Team]

How about the numbers.
What do you see on the migration result page?

The numbers show how many posts and users there were in the old forum and how many are in the new one. Nothing changes after migration.

It seems there is a phpBB version or database incompatibility. I’m sorry but there is no way to debug and help you in support forums. I’d recommend you ask for pro support: https://wpforo.com/pro-support/#migration
