• Hello everyone, I know this or similar issues with redirects has been discussed many many times, how to redirect the whole WordPress installation from root to sub directory or to sub-domain. However my issue is I have installed the blog in the root and want to keep it that way, by using a nice looking template it looks like a self standing website, but my blog template/page (domain.com/blog, only blog that part used for posts) is currently and by default resides in sub-directory, like this domain.com/blog. I’d like to move only that sub-directory to sub-domain blog.domain.com. I have created a sub-directory and when entering it in the browser address bar blog.domain.com it takes me to home page and i would like it to display an actual blog with posts. Any help to accomplish that is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the link, still a bit confusing to apply it to my situation, since they are talking a whole WP blog to move to its own sub-domain and not the sub-directory for actual page /blog (with comments) itself. But i will try to look into it in much more detail. Do i need to have multisite WordPress install in order to accomplish this functionality to work?
