Moving subscribers to new list

    Hi guys,

    I’ve created a new list for active subscribers and added a new welcome email.

    But when I move subscribers to the new list, they’re not receiving the welcome email.

    How do I move a subscriber to a new list so that they can get a set of autoresponder emails?

    When I check the list page, I can see that one user has been added to the new list, but they’re not getting the welcome email, and I’ve set it to send email immediately when a new subscriber is added.

    Please help.

    Ohh, I see, please note that Welcome Emails are?not?sent when:

    •  subscribers are imported;
    •  an admin does batch actions in the subscriber’s listings.

    So that’s probably why they are not being sent for you. You can find out more here.

    Having said that, you could achieve something similar with the new Automation feature in MailPoet.

    It will allow you to add a subscriber to a list based on a condition, and also to trigger emails to them (in the same way as Welcome Email).
