Moving Subdomain to a Subdirectory

Greetings, I hope you’re doing well.
I have a subdomain abc.xyz.com, and I want to move it to a subdirectory so that the URL becomes xyz.com/abc
I am not too technically versed, and I can’t fight the right way to do it. I am afraid it’ll break my site or something.
Can you please help?
I know how to use FileZilla if that’s needed.

Also, some hosting companies will assist with this. It’s worth asking.
Take a complete backup before doing anything so that you don’t have to fear breaking your site. You could go a step further for peace of mind and make a local copy of your site that works on your computer.
