• Hi

I’m running a different installation of wordpress on my subdomain than on my main site. The reason I did this was to develop my new site whilst the old one was still running and now I’m ready to launch the new site I’d like to move it, and all it’s content to replace the old site (and all its content!) at the main domain.

Is there a nice, easy, headache-free way of doing this?

    Many thanks

    Tim

Hi Rajan, that’s very kind of you, but I’d rather learn how to do it myself so I’ll be able to do it again if I need to!

I’ll have a look at that plugin though!

    Any other tips?

    Hi Tim.,

    Dear Rajan V:

I saw your offer above to Timothy to move a site from a subdirectory to the primary directory. I was wondering if you’d like to give my site a try. I’ve been reading about how to do it, but I’m a little apprehensive, as I am very new to website development. I’ve created a site “the.supportgroupsgalore.com” but I now know that I need all that content to be on “supportgroupsgalore.com”. It’s a very basic social network site.

If you’re interested, please let me know. I’d truly appreciate the assistance.

    Bobby
