There seems to be a problem when you try and move a subdomain with this plugin installed. In the example moving ‘test.domain.com’ > ‘www.domain.com’ for some reason, the new site refers back to the old site when running the configuration wizard.

This means it is impossible to change (and save) from option B to option A in the first page of the configuration wizard as the data doesn’t save.

The upshot is that this causes the website to display an error notification as the robot.txt is referenced by the old site test.domain.com/robots.txt

Even after removing the plugin and reinstalling the error persists.

When moving a site from one domain to another, you’ll need to make sure that you have edited and placed the new domain name correctly in the database. If Yoast SEO is still referring to the old domain name even when the site is running on the new domain name, this means you haven’t edited the database correctly to replace the old domain name.
