Moving sites causes posts to become inherit status?

  • I am moving sites to a new server and when I exported the db and imported on the new server, about 600 posts got lost. I can see revisions for the posts in the db itself on the new server but the actual post seems to have disappeared.

    Any thoughts on how or why?
