Moving site to subdomain

Hi,

My entire site is powered by wordpress. WordPress is installed at mydomain.com/content, and the site address is just mydomain.com. I would like to move my current site from mydomain.com to country.mydomain.com as we will soon be launching in another country. I do not need to move the install location at all.

Can I simply update the site address in general settings or do I need to do something else?

Is there a way to easily redirect all current pages to the new subdomain, without redirecting the entire domain?
