Moving .site-title and .site-description higher on home page

    You want something like this

    @media screen and ( max-width: 48.875em ) {
.has-header-image.twentyseventeen-front-page .site-branding, .has-header-video.twentyseventeen-front-page .site-branding, .has-header-image.home.blog .site-branding, .has-header-video.home.blog .site-branding {
top: 0px;
}
}

    Adjust the 0px accordingly eg you can make it something like ‘-60px’ if you want it much higher

    salsaturation – Thank you for this – I’ve been going mad trying to move the site branding.

    Is there any way to overlay a png on top of the video header? I’ve embedded a watermark onto the header image for the other pages to prevent theft. However, this won’t work for the video header. When I tried the recommended solution, it worked just fine. If *for any reason* the video doesn’t load, it defaults back to the header image which now has the embedded watermark, as well as the site title and description.

    Nobody is going to see that you need support when posting inside someone else’s thread, especially a thread that is months old. Even if you feel like your problem is the same as someone else’s please do create your own topic.
