Moving site from a folder to root

    Right now my site resides under a /wp folder on my webserver and i am about to move it to the root.

    I recently read that i will have to rewrite ALL imagelinks from the old path; /wp/wp-content/images to; /wp-content/images this change on EACH and EVERY image, is this true?

    I run the NextGen gallery with 20000 images so this would take me som time to do.
