Moving Posts along with their Comments

    A user has posted a message but to the wrong category.
    How do I move this message from the Welcome category to a new post and a new category?

    Again, I think this is something that should be part of the core theme. There are two WP plugins available: one is outdated and the other won’t respond to my support request.

    Hi Charles,

    You should be able to see their post in the Posts menu. You can change the post’s category from there or in the post editor.

    Since what I wanted moved was a comment not an actual post what you suggested couldn’t be done. I asked the author to repost his comment as an actual post. The comment has been deleted so no longer necessary to move.

    This issue can be considered resolved.
