Moving one site from multisite to a separate installation

Hi all,

I have a multisite installed and now I’d need to move one site from it to a different server and also change the domain name (multisite has been used as a test-site and now I’d need to install one site from it to production).

I have found many discussions and examples about this but I have not yet managed to do this properly (failed couple of times).

Here’s some things that are causing problems to me:

– Should I install a fresh WordPress-version without multisite-configurations (the current multisite is done with earlier version of WP)? What do I need to copy from the multisite’s files to the new site’s filesystem?

– What do I need to copy from the multisite’s database to the new database? Prefix of this site in the multisite’s db is WP_3.
Or should I do this via WP’s import/export?

– How can I update the data in the new db so that the new site works with it’s new domain?

– Do I need to change anything else in WP’s files than in wp-config.php the database’s username/password/db-name?

– Do I ned to do anything for the plugins?

I’d really appreciate a step by step installation example with all these things mentioned in it ??
