  • Hello there,

Menu by default display above header. Could you please share your site link so that i can take a look. And provide you solution.

    Thank You.

A link would be great as was mentioned….but to start off, moving the navigation container will require a child theme because you will have to move code blocks around from the header.php file. So if you feel adventurous, that is the only way.

The reason why you would use a child theme is so that whenever there is an update to TwentySixteen, you won’t lose your customization. Plus, if you make a mistake, it’s easier to fix without affecting the Twenty Sixteen theme.

    Hi everybody!
I just managed to move the navigation below the header image by creating a header.php file in my child theme and switching around some code according to this: https://pastebin.com/9pjwBHE3
Now the problem I have is that all my new css changes in my style.css child theme file don’t work anymore. Only the new ones.
Did I forget some more changes in the code to link the new header.php to my style.css sheet?
    Thanks!
    Best,
    Hanna

Sorry, my fault. It seems there were issues with the server. All the changes are here now ??
