Moving nav bar outside of container

Hi,

I’ve managed to successfully shift the nav bar above the header image by moving the relevant code in header.php, but it still sits in the same container. Can you tell me how to have the navbar as it’s own seperate div that sits above the container (ie, everything else)?

Any help would be massively appreciated!

I want a margin at the sides of the page, but the nav bar to extend all the way to the edge regardless – I assume moving it out of the container is the best solution for this. If you have another solution please let me know!
