  • Try using the Meta Widget in Appearance -> Widgets.

    Had a look but this is what it says;

    “There are no options for this widget.”

    Does that mean that its stuck where it is?

    The little orange button that you will find on the “about me” page.(did say i was a newbie)

    Just another query; can i maybe put the login on home page next to (inline ) with menu buttons?

    You could try using wp_login_url but whether you can add it to your menu depends upon how the menu is being generated and how comfortable you are using PHP.
