Moving Localsite from PC to Mac

Zip the folder with all the files. Export the database. Unpack the zip in the public html folder of Mamp, create the DB, import the database.

Find your database in phpmyadmin, your export and import options are there.

Has anyone ever used the backup/ clone plugins to move sites from local to dev?
