Moving image up in the left sidebar in the Hestia big title section

Hi,
I’m trying the Hestia theme for my new website and here is the problem. I want to add a smaller image over the background image in the home page “big title” section, in a responsive way.
What I’ve come to so far is using a layout with left sidebar in the section and add image there as a widget. All works well but it appears centered vertically, I guess, so the image shows too low on desktop and tablet.
Is there any way to move it up?
