Moving Hosts. How to move files??

it’s really simple, especially if you are not changing the name of your domain. simply back up the files to your workstation, then upload them to your new host. do the same with your database. read the codex, and if you don’t understand something post again.

Okay, I tried that but I’m still not getting any of my archives back. Am i doing something wrong?

what do you mean by “getting your archives back”? did you use Permalinks previously? if so, have you tried recreating them?

Like my previous entries that I blogged with what people commented. I don’t want to start all over from stratch because I have entries dating back to January.

Did you follow the steps above exactly? You may have to reset your permalink rules.

You can see on the second link I have all the entries I made. What I want it to sort of transfer them (somehow) to my new location.

You must have not follow the instructions correctly. Re-read them (specifically the part about moving your database) and try again.

i agree. it appears as though you have copied all your wordpress/theme files properly, however the database export/import may not have worked. try it again. (once you download your backup of your database, try opening the file in Notepad/TextEdit to see if you successfully backed up the data)
