moving host plus

  • Ok I have had this site https://www.aew-electrical.co.uk for 5 years. I built it with Serif Webplus and registered with Google and Bing webmasters.

    Fine it was a bit big and clinky and costly and when Google contacted me to say my site was not mobile friendly and that after 21-04-15 it would basically be ignored.

    So I took the opportunity to move to a cheaper host and build it with WordPress and all has went well so far . My problem is my Webmaster accounts at first I deleted Google but when I put it back in it came with all the old data .

    I have now placed updated site maps on both Bing and Google so is there anything else I should do or do I just wait for both of them to re crawl the site and see the changes

    EDIT just to add I have checked the site out with my phone and on the top it is saying place Google/Bing verification code here ?
    So how would get an copy of this

  • You could take a look at Yoast’s SEO plugin or All in One SEO and use them.

    The next thing would be to regularly add content if you can.

    thanks for that martcol do have Yoast SEO but I would like to get my Google/Bing webmasters sorted
