Hello, and thanks for the great plugin!

There is an affiliate site with about 500 posts and most of them contain affiliate links created with Thirsty Affiliates and using the https:// address of the site.

If I move the site to https:// will ALL the old affiliate links break or will they be redirected to the https://example.com/recommends/xxxxx version ( by just adding a redirection from http -> https in htaccess)

    I am a bit confused.

  • Hi @imarketingr

They should redirect fine but it also depends a bit on if you have a redirect from http to https on your host. I recommend you set that up anyway to catch any old links.

What I would suggest you do is export the DB using something like WP Migrate DB, replace all https://example.com with https://example.com during the export and re-import your database.

If you go this path, I have to say it: Take lots of backups!!!

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
