Moving from Google fonts in Bento

  • I am trying to improve site speed on two sites with the Bento theme. One element which is taking loading time is Google fonts (also I think awesome fonts is loaded).
    I would be happy on my site using a combination of standard web fonts (Helvetica, Georgia) which I understand would mean I wouldn’t need Google fonts.
    So:
    If I use standard web fonts, will the theme still load google fonts?
    And if so, is there any recommended way to turn this off?
