    Hi team,

I am using for a while now Ewww Optimizer, but i am not really satisfied any more of its services. I am thinking about moving to Smush it. If i deinstall optimizer and install smush it, is there any risk ?

    Hi @yvandupuy

    I hope you’re well today!

No, it shouldn’t create any risk. If you remove Ewwww Optimizer, optimization that this plugin made to your files should still be applied. When you run smushing on the images, Smush will detects whether it is able to optimize those images more or not.

Those that can be further optimized, will be and those that can’t will just remain unchanged. One way or another – how many of the images will be further optimized and to what degree, that mostly depends on these specific images. You’ll need to give it a go but nonetheless nothing wrong should happen.

    Best regards,
    Adam
