Moving from another tracking plugi

    Hello,

    I want to start using “Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce”. But I want to keep all the previous tracking numbers I have, that were created using Aftership tracking plugin.

    Can i do that, and how?

    Hi, we created a small plugin you can download and use to migrate tracking numbers from AfterShip to AST.
    https://github.com/zorem/migrate-from-aftership-to-ast
    Please note that you might need to create a mapping to the shipping providers in case the names do not exactly match (there is a code snippet for that)

    I will try it and let you know. Please see some questions:
    1. I guess that, at first, I have to install and enable AST plugin before running the migration plugin that you provided?
    2. Aftership plugin should be enabled or disabled before running the migration plugin?

    Hi @evathias,

    1.) Yes, you have to install and enable the AST plugin before running the migration plugin.
    2.) No need to enable the Aftership plugin for migration.
