    Good morning. Apologize in advance if this subject has been vetted I did not see it in the first few pages of the Support area.

    We have an existing PD installation that I have customized on our current website. We are now moving to a new WordPress website. What I am wondering is if/how I can move our existing PD installation by copying SQL tables etc from our current server to our new server so that I do NOT have to re-implement the many field level and page level customizations we have made? Is it just a matter of copying over the SQL DBs and custom templates? Can this be done?

    Any advice on how to move/copy the install from our existing site to the new site would be much appreciated. Can give more detail if needed.

    Quick follow up:

    I exported the 3 PD tables from the existing site
    Installed a new version of the plug-in on a new site
    Truncated the PD tables on the new site
    Then ran the import from the exported tables to populate the PD tables

    and all checks out reasonably well! So seems like a success at this point.

    Anything I need to watch out for with the DBs having used this approach?

    Well, it is important to also copy the participants database options from the options table. Or you can just re-configure the plugin in your new installation.
