Moving data to wpForo Forum

  • My website currently has the Asgaros Forum plugin installed on my WordPress site, but I’m looking to move to wpForo. I’m having difficulty understanding what the process is to move the data over to make this move possible

    Hi @aghafir92,

    Here is the migration information: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/migrate-to-wpforo/

    There are three steps:

    1. Install wpForo on the same WordPress where the Asgaros is installed
    2. Install wpForo Migration tool (Go2wpForo) on the same WordPress
    3. Go to the Go2wpForo menu and select the Asgaros one
    4. Click use current Database Connection details
    5. Fill the paths to Asgaros forum attachments. It’ll be suggested.
    6. Start the migration and don’t close your browser.
