Moving comments from one post to another

in the wp database, change the comment’s post ID

Is there no plug-in that enables this sort of action or must I use phpmyadmin or similar?

Hi all, I’m really desperate to find a way moving misposted replies. Can somebody post a way to solve this or write a plugin please? I’d be happy to help out although I’m just a mere web-designer and not a hacker :-/

Hi Moshu, thanks for that. Just done the same on my missus blog too after spending some time cleaning up her site. Using phpMyAdmin makes the job relatively easy but with loads of comments it’s still extra work.

Her blog is quickly becoming more like a forum and I think we should definitly include this kind of moderating ability to the default WP installation… please ??

Thanks for posting a fix axel…I agree that this really should be part of a comments plugin. It’s definitely much needed.
