Moving blog from another software – moving trackbacks

  • Hi all, I need to find out how to manually insert trackbacks into posts. My old application is not listing all of them correctly and is buggy so I am moving to wordpress. I do not know php or mysql very well. Can someone give me a simple step by step instruction on manually inserting trackbacks from another site to mine for specified post? My programming background is .NET and MSSql so I could probably follow the instructions.

  • On a working WP install trackbacks (and pings) are displayed among the comments. I have no idea how would you insert them manually but if you have TBs in your working WP install, you could take a look at them how they are inserted.
