Moving blog files from www.remarpro.com to wordpress.com

  • I have a hosting company and use www.remarpro.com. I dont want to pay for hosting and want to just move my whole blog to wordpress.com.
    Any easy way to do this?
    Is there an export function or can I simply backup my files and move them over?
    what do I do?

  • You cannot move your files there. Nor can you move your database – and that’s more important, since all your content is in the database, NOT in the files!

    However, if you upgrade to the 2.1.x branch (the latest being 2.3) you will have an Export options and wp.com has an import option – that will solve your problem.
