Moving an item in the calendar strips content

A client of us ran into a problem with invalid block content after moving the post using the editorial calendar. We found out by checking the revisions.

All JSON-like content in the content blocks seem to have been removed after the change.

For example

Was modified to <figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped"><!-- wp:image -->
