    Hi

I have a wordpress blog running over at https://www.jonrouston.co.uk/blog/ which I want to move to https://www.jonrouston.com/jonrouston.co.uk/wordpress/ and then point the DNS to the new site, so it effectively becomes jonrouston.co.uk

I have redesigned the main site, so I don’t want to carry over any of the pages, but I do want to carry over the ‘media’ (basically pictures) as I want to delete the old hosting.

I have exported the old site and imported that into the new blog, which works, but even if I tick ‘download and import file attachments’ the posts still point images to the jonrouston.co.uk. Looking at ‘wp-content/uploads/’ in my ftp program indicates it hasn’t uploaded anything.

Am I misunderstanding what the checkbox should do, and if so does anyone know of any easy way of moving all the images over, or is it a case of downloading, uploading and manually recoding each <img> tag (which obviously, I’m not keen to do!

    Thanks for any help

    Jon
