• I recently downloaded the plugin to move one comment from a post to another post with custom post types.

However, afterwards I noticed that all the comments on my site stopped to show up. It would show the individual comment counts however whenever I scrolled to the end of the post nothing would show up anymore.

I went into my comments section on wp-admin and noticed that all the comments on the entire website had been moved into that one post. How do I fix this?

    Hi NollyR,

This is quite a strange bug and I have never encounter it before. My guess is perhaps because the plugin maybe incompatible with WordPress 3.9. Are you using WordPress 3.9 and above??

Did you move the comment through bulk move or move it individually through the comment show page?

I haven’t test the plugin extensively on 3.9 yet and I will look into it. In the mean time, I will suggest you to restore your comments through a backup.

Thanks for letting me know. I will look into this and notify you of updates.

Another possible reason would also be that it is in conflict with other plugins. Perhaps you can try disabling other plugins and try and move a comment to a different and see what happens?

This plugin also moves threaded comments. So if the comments that you are moving have subcomments, it will move the entire comment to the post you have specified.
