Moving all categories to a parent category

  • For example. I have 1000 categories and I want to move them all into a new parent category named old2008.

    How can I do this with phpmyadmin?

    btw Batch Categories plugin does not display the full form for me so I can’t use it =\

  • i think you need to mess with database to achive this i cant see any other plugin which can you.

    Hi guys, did you ever figured out on how to do it yet? I’m stuck with same problem, have hundred of category want to move it to a sub cat. doing one by one is not the preferred method.
