Moving a sub-category

  • I’d like to move a sub-category and all the articles associated with it to another category at my site. Does WP automatically make redirects? Thank you.

    Can anyone provide this information. I’m a website owner only and have little, if any, knowledge of backend stuff. My web developer is not currently available.

    I do know that there is a tool called Redirection but I’m unsure how to set it to automatic redirect. For all I know, it may be set to that already, but I want to make sure before I make any moves.
