Moving a site

  • When I uploaded the blog I did so using the WordPress folder as its root so that I could port my files across to WordPress and still leave my old website on line.

    I’m thinking of going live with the site now but I’ve noticed that the path to all the files have WordPress in e.g. (https://www.fleetwood-trawlers.info/wordpress/index.php/2009/01/st-red-lancer-lo442/).

    To move the blog out of the WordPress folder to the root of my site, will I now have to edit the path of all 700 files to remove the reference to the WordPress folder before the site will work?
