Movinf from all-ine one seo xml sitemap to your plugin’s sitemap ?

Hi Yvan, you can use the Google News sitemap without the XML Sitemap in this plugin. So you can keep using the XML Sitemap from AiOSEO. Or you can deactivate the one in AiOSEO and (re)activate the one provided by XML Sitemap & Google News.

In any case, after installation you should get an admin message from XML Sitemap & Google News telling you there are two sitemaps active and giving instructions about what to do ??

-The first one (keep xml from aioseo+ google news sitemap from your plugin)
or
-The second one (all sitemaps from your plugin) ?

i mean in terms of compatibility, possible issues…

No issues as far as I know, both scenarios are fine. It’s completely up to your preference ??

I decided to keep all in seo for the main sitemap and to delegate Google News sitemap to your plugin.

The adress of the Google News sitemap is: https://www.neoproduits.com/sitemap-news.xml

However i got a matter: when i submitted it in google search console, it is written:”impossible de récupérer le sitemap”. However when i click on it , it says that the urls have beee discovered.

First question: what must i do so that the google news sitemap is recognized and validated ? > Correction, it was just validated by google!

Second question: have I to modify my robots.txt and lnclude Google news site adress ?

You can but it’s not really necessary. Only Google News needs a news sitemap and since you submitted yours in the Google Search Console, it already knows where to find it ??

Yes the sitemap was validated by Google. However, as i kept the all in one seo for the mail sitemap, thsi one sent me a notification in the backoffice that i use two plugins to deal with sitemaps. But i use both for different uses (normal sitemap for all in one seo and your plugin for google news). So you confirm that it is not problematic, even if there’es this notification ?

On the second point, robots.txt, ok i will let it like this ??

Yes, if you unchecked the XML Sitemap Index option on Settings > Reading then you should be OK. If you can ignore (make disappear) the admin message from AiOSEO then there will be no more issue ??
