Movie Page Please Help

  • Hi I am trying to do something that I don’t know if anyone would know how to do…

    I have uploaded a movie into wordpress. I want this movie to be the opening page on my wordpress site, display the movie, then after the movie redirect to one of my wordpress pages. I have tried creating a flash intro prior to this but it is too buggy and I can’t make it work. Can anyone help me?

  • Insert the movie with a rental player (Vimeo, Youtube) into the HTML of header.php and just add a metatag to redirect after the movie ends.
    (Set the metatag to the same time as your movie and put the movie on auto play.)

    Please don’t. Redirecting to new pages without warning causes problems for some user groups. Depending upon your country, it may also cause your site to fall foul of anti-discrimination/disability laws.
