• Hi there,

Will your plugin work if the wp-config.php file has been moved above your public_html folder?

I installed it and got the, ‘Warning! WP Super Cache caching was broken but has been fixed! The script advanced-cache.php could not load wp-cache-phase1.php’ message so wondering if this is the reason.

Uninstalling and reinstall did not work, activating the cache did not work and I also manually added the lines to the moved wp-config.php file but still the same issue.

    Thanks

Just to add, i also noticed it did not add the define( ‘WPCACHEHOME’, ‘/XXXXXXXXXX/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/’ ); to the original wp-config.php file but since i have it pointing to the moved one, i added the line to the moved wp-config.php and the error message goes away but the caching is still not working. The test in the plugin fails to as the timestamps do not match. No cached files are shown in the plugin tab but the cache folder does show files cached.

So i’ve gone as far as i can and any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried the debug log? Does it show that the plugin is creating cache files?
