    Hi

    I’m changing my site from a HTML site to WordPress. I had WordPress on my blog page so I moved the files yesterday and now have the below message on the home page ?? Can some one advise me please.

    Warning: require_once(/home/e552931/public_html/admin.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/e552931/public_html/index.php on line 10

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/e552931/public_html/admin.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/e552931/public_html/index.php on line 10

    Thanks ??

    If your database is still there, then what I recommend is deleting all the files *except* wp-content/uploads and wp-config.php. Then upload a clean copy of WordPress. That should be all you need. Verify that the database information is correct in wp-config.php, of course.

    Once you get into the site, you’ll then have to reinstall your plugins but and themes, but any settings that were in the database will have been preserved.
