Moved to root dir, problems with wp-json
-
Hi ??
I wanted to access my wp page through “example.com” (new) instead of “example.com/shop”. The WP-Files are in the /shop/ folder and I did not want to move them to root. So under settings->general, I set the page url to example.com
Then I followed the tutorial under:
(Method I applied for me)Now all of my page’s content works fine while accessing it from example.com, I can login and everything looks beautiful.
However I noticed that some requests are now as follows:
https://example.com//shop/wp-json/yoast/v1/configuration/save_configuration_state/yoast/v1/configuration/save_configuration_state/?_locale=user
(results in 404)These failed requests lead some plugins to malfunction such as yoast or jetpack.
Notice the “//shop/wp-json” in the url. I’ve tried to delete and reinstall the plugin yoast, but it did not help.
