Moved to new hosting (with same provider) and can't connect to gmail

    imap_open failed: Can’t connect to gmail-imap.l.google.com,993: Connection timed out
    Mail Connection Time Out
    Common Reasons: Server Down, Network Issue, Port/Protocol MisMatch
    The Server said:

    Warning: imap_expunge() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /wp-content/plugins/postie/postieIMAP.php on line 149

    Warning: imap_close() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /wp-content/plugins/postie/postieIMAP.php on line 157

    any help please ? It worked on old server but now with same settings it is unable to connect to gmail.

    You need to talk to your hosting provider. Ensure they allow outbound connections on port 993.
