Moved site to root – styles not working

  • Hello,

    I just moved my site from miss-cfo.com/test to miss-cfo.com (root directory).

    I’m using the Tofito theme which lets you set custom CSS in the backend.

    After moving my site, the custom css is no longer working. I can see the theme uses a file called dynamic-styles.php, but can’t tell why this is no longer working.

    Any help gratefully received, as the theme author won’t support queries after a site move.

  • Assuming your move completed fully and successfully, there is at least an outside chance something in your theme or a plugin is using or trying to use “absolute server path” (something not addressed during the move) and cannot find what it needs. I first discovered that kind of problem for myself in relation to a certain plugin. To resolve that dilemma, I only had to completely remove and then re-install and again activate that plugin so it could find the new path.
