Hello all, I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to fix this.

I transferred a site I built on one domain to another domain. Everything went well. When I went to the General>Setting section to change the old URL to the new one and saved it, it jumped to the login screen. I typed in the password and it then jumped to the login screen of the new domain. I typed the login info for the one on the new domain and it jumped back to the login of the old domain. It’s on loop.

I tried to reset the password, but when I click on the confirmation link, it tells me I have an invalid key. I’ve checked multiple forums and documentation, even changed the user_pass on myPHPadmin on both domains, but that didn’t work I either. Nothing has worked.

If anyone can help me figure this weirdness out that would be great! Thanks so much!

  • Check your database if you have changed all old URLs to the new ones.

Yes, I thought I replaced everything, but the code I used only targeted one table. I finally got all the urls changed and it works!

    Thanks so much!
