Moved site – thumbnails not showing on WooCommerce Products
-
I moved my entire wordpress site from some crappy hosting to a VPS. tar’d the files up, extracted them on the new docroot and imported the database. The site is working fine.
However for some reason all the product thumbnail preview images are broken in WooCommerce.
Example: https://imgur.com/wTb6be2
What is so strange is that the jpg’s exist on the server, are accessible via a direct URL to the file, and there are even preview thumbnails in WordPress’s Media Library.
Something else to note, during the site move, I changed my site from an exclusively HTTPS website to mostly HTTP. This required changing the URL path of the site in Settings > General > WordPress Address (URL) and Settings > General > Site Address (URL). In addition to also updating URL locations and paths in the wordpress database via phpmyadmin.
Checked file / folder permissions on wp-content/uploads
Files are 604
Folders are 755Still i can’t seem to figure this one last inconvenient item out. It’s driving me crazy. The site functions even in this state but it’s just one of those things that if it worked, i’d feel complete and all warm and fuzzy inside.
Hope someone can help me out. Thank you!
