Moved site, not recording traffic but Analytics is

A few questions for you to help us troubleshoot:

1. What host were you previously on, and what host are you on now?
2. Did your website URL change at all with the move? For example, did your site change from http > https or no www to adding the www?
3. Can you please share your Site Health information privately via this form?
4. Can you please share screenshots of what you are seeing in your Site Kit Dashboard for Analytics vs. what you are seeing in Google Analytics? The forums do not support screenshot uploads, so you can share one via a link generated by Imgur or JumpShare.

2. I looked in the set up of Analytics and it was without the www. I added it. Refreshed the GSK and still showing wrong data

@frankmatt2018 Thank you for these details! One more question: Can you confirm that you began to see these discrepancies between the Site Kit and Analytics dashboards after your site moved from SiteGround to ChemiCloud?

That is correct. Stopped reporting correctly when site moved.

It looks like this is likely related to a known issue where changing a website URL to add/remove www changes the data that appears in the Site Kit dashboard. We’re tracking this in GitHub here, and plan to have a fix released next week.

I’m also doing some additional testing on my end to see if there’s something else going on here, and will report back as soon as I have more details.

@frankmatt2018 Many thanks for your patience on this. We’ve just released Site Kit version 1.30.0, which has a fix in place to account for these www changes. You’ll find details by visiting the related GitHub issue.

Can you please update to the latest version before checking your Analytics dashboard once more? It would be great to know if this now works as expected on your side.
