Moved from root to subfolder. Links in entries are broken
-
Hi, everybody,
I moved my WordPress blog from root to a subfolder.
All blog’s links are working, but the ones in the entries. In the entries, all the URLs (href for anchors and src for images) are written as relative paths.
For example, this page:
https://trivinosanchez.com/proyectos/esquince/?p=504
It has the following code:
<p class=”cabecera”></p>
<h4 class=”cabecera”>15/02/2012</h4>Although I updated in Settings the WordPress URL and the site URL to ‘https://trivinosanchez.com/proyectos/esquince/’, when WordPress generates the absolute path for the links and images in the entry, it uses just the domain (‘https://trivinosanchez.com’), ignoring folders (‘/proyectos/esquince/’).
Therefore, generates broken links as:
https://trivinosanchez.com/?cat=25
https://trivinosanchez.com/wp-content/uploads/cabeceras/cab_20120215_final.jpgHow could I solve this issue? Is there any way to fix it without editing all the links? I did some search, but I didn’t find anything. I found some answers, but they didn’t work for me (or maybe I didn’t do it right).
Thanks in advance for the help
